Fred, a clerk at a private company in Nairobi, said that his life at work changed completely after a new boss was introduced into the organization.
He explained that although the job had previously been peaceful, the new supervisor seemed to side with some of his colleagues and constantly assigned him excessive tasks.
He reported that the boss often used abusive language toward him, something that repeatedly caused arguments between them. According to Fred, not a single week passed without a confrontation, yet he had no choice but to remain in the job because finding another one was difficult due to scarcity.
